After 13 years of traveling the United States, it was time to strap the backpacks onto my body like a turtle and see the world again. My first stop was a return to my favorite little city of #Amsterdam.
Seeing the change in the city after more than a decade of my absence was disorienting, as some of the #coffeeshops and hostels I once frequented were no longer there, but the vibe of the city remained the same. Needless to say, I still love Amsterdam and take any chance to return.
This is the first post in a series that will take me on an adventure through some of the most iconic cities and sights of the world that ultimately shaped the way that I now travel.
