I landed in #Casablanca without any expectations or knowledge about #Morocco other than I knew it was a place I wanted to explore. I am not a city person, and this was my first experience of navigating a new city/country entirely blind.
Walking through the markets, being captivated by everything that surrounded me was an overload of the senses. Inevitably, like all #tourists in Morocco, I was led into a carpet shop. Being shown all the amazing designs and having them explained to me opened my eyes to what was in store for me for the next month of travels around this beautiful country.
Casablanca, Morocco was the moment I realized that “getting lost” was actually the fastest way to find what I was looking for.
